yea i wondered about latency too, not sure if the Beta was lag/latency or it was the graphics setting but it had some bad issues where it would freeze and 5 seconds later you are dead.

do not want that, though they did say you could do inferno solo, but that would make no difference since presumably, even solo is player on american servers which is pretty retarded. must play online - no we wont support your region.

Soi while you can play on any server if you want to use the real life auction house you need to use the default server blizzard chooses for you which will be the americas region.

Does anyone even want to play on Asia servers ?

No but if the servers were really located in south east asia its possible to have better ping which would be great. Im really concerned about the ping being an issue in the harder difficulties of the game and especially in hardcore mode. I definitely wont be doing hardcore until I finish all the difficulties in softcore mode.

SEA servers have always been slower for me in all games. US West is the go.

Ditto, I always played on US West. Unless West was down and I was desperate, then I played on East. I haven't read all 12 pages of this thread, but there was no mention of the whole pay as you play sort of thing was there? Like WoW? Cause that would shit me off. I probably spent like half my life playing D2 haha

yea nope they are making profits from the RMAH, so you're sweet just paying for the game no subscription service here.

don't really give a shit about the auction house so will play wherever my friends are at the time, figure i can get alright items anyways... i'm fairly proficient at grinding rpg's for items.

Ah that is excellent news! Yeah I really don't think I will be doing the auction house stuff, maybe putting items up or something, but not buying. I got so much satisfaction from D2 when I found a good item myself or you know, traded several runs worth of items for something specific.

I think this game might take over my life.

My whole pay cheque is going straight to the RMA every month, I need some parental supervision or something because I can't help myself.
