Just finished listening to Guy J Transition mix for Digweed.. WOW.. The last track ... Twice as Nice - Overture is amazing... Heard it a few times but only just found the name of the track.. Don't think it's released?... Can't find it anywhere.

Just putting it out.. This guy could be as good as Digweed over time... Such similar styles.. Love Guy's darker bits of his sets..

Quite frankly I think he is better than Digweed already. Much better technically and creatively. Obviously he hasn't had the time to give to the scene what Digweed has, and he may never , but just judging on his attributes as a dj/producer.

Guy J is definitely better then Digweed on current form.

Diggers is beginning to disappear up the rectum of white noise tech house shite.

Guy J always manges to find the most beautiful, melodic stuff around and his sets are always spot on.

That might be easier for him seeing he makes some of the most beautiful melodic stuff around

LOL.. I was a bit worried about saying Guy J better then Diggers.. thought I would cop a verbal bashing LOL.

Would be nice to see Diggers get back to his darker melodic stuff.. As Abitpatchy said, his gone to far to the Tech House stuff.
Sasha is the 1 out of the 2 I am still really loving at the moment.

Would love to see Guy J get an extended set on his next tour.. Would love to see what he does with 3+ hours.
I can't stop listening to Overture-Twice as Nice.. SOOOO GOOD.

Probably the only thing I have really loved from Sasha is Airdrawndagger, and then I find out that is really more Charlie May anyway. I listen to his stuff, some of it is likeable enough but I never want to listen to it again. I actively disliked his gigs. The only one I liked was the Digweed /Sasha at QBH. Although I was told he was really good in Melbourne last time. I sold my ticket and went to Sunny instead for Infusion , haven't regretted it for a moment.

Btw. Last year and the year before we got 3 hour Guy J sets. This year was only 2 but the whole event was amazing :d

Marc Marzenit was wonderful here as well. The best idea of how good they were was that I didn't want any of them to stop. And none of them started early : Guy J was the best, but not by a lot. definitely one of my best ever events !!

Sasha was incredible at Billboards Di, when he comes back you should give him another chance as he has been in much better form then Digweed.

Damn straight, i have seen sasha twice (Global Gathering at SMB and Billboards) and both times he has been spot on and proven why he is still at the top of his game after 20 years in the biz

Sasha at Billboards was absolutely mental.
Digweed's transitions sets aren't good, very boring a lot of the time.
But I still think hearing him at a sideshow would be great, not willing to compare them until I've heard a considerable Digweed sideshow. That one back at q-bar on the Wednesday which was the last I heard was mental.

I was at that one. It was definitely the best I have heard Digweed . But he still took forever to get underway, and there were quite a few train wrecks there. Definitely a great night though.

^^Egbert's remix of Dream It is awesome... the melodic breakdown comes out of a thick storm of big-room tech, just perfect

I really hope he is back here soon to play a decent length set. His set at Musica last year was one of the best of the year for me.

Apparently he loves Melbourne , but I think he, Marc Marzenit and King Unique bonded so well they won't tour without each other They call themselves the BFF Brotherhood !! I think Henry Saiz is an honorary member

Someone really should book a tour with Guy J, Marc, KU and Henry on the same bill, and put it on somewhere massive!

Have heard the promo mix with stuff off discs 1 and 2 of 1000 Words, I've got a good feeling this album is going to be an absolute belter.

And +1 for another tour, he was off-tap at Musica last year.
Words I've Written
Skins (free downloads of deep/tech/prog house originals)
Fromage Of Reason (DJ mix of house reboots of pop classics - Hall & Oates, NKOTB, et al)
