cdjs over heating
I live on the gold coast right and it was like 30 degrees yesterday.Me and my cousin played at a party last night and had to stop about an hour into it cause the cdj 1000 pretty much "slowed down".. as in it took like 3 mins to load cds.

So we picked them up and found the bottom and sides of them were that hot aye.. as in burning hot... So we stopped let them cool down and got a fan and faced it to the kit.. which seamed to work.

Has anything like this happened to anymore before? is there anything else we can do???

Umm - definitely something up

Last couple of years here in Perth we've had gigs on 40, 43, 45 degree days and I've never seen a CDJ have an issue

Probably breakfest last year the units would have been running 50 degress plus!

Always keep gear well ventilated. Especially if its hot. get these to put under the CDJs. You can buy adapter plugs that take usb.
