Printer for labelling cd's
I had been in the market for a very long time to find a cost effective way of printing labels onto my cds..i had inkjet printers but the whole tray thing was a big turn off... also i wanted something pretty small and neat... i have finally found the answer...had this for a week and it's great..

if it helps anyone, here it is

its the Dymo Discpainter..

a little expensive at US $ 250 (list price).. i managed to get it for 260 delivered from newegg...cartridges are about 30 US$.. even though some ppl on the reviews say that they last for 50 dics only, between the 3 of my friends we printed about 120 plus on grayscale on one cartridge..and with the new one, we have notched up about 100 so far (text only)

hope it helps ppl..

well...u print directly on inkjet printable cd's.. no labels required...
also u can print from any software including the adobe range e.g. illustrator...

quite nifty... after searching high and low for 6 months , i couldnt find a single retailer in australia who stocks this at a decent price.. .

Nice work subby, might consider getting one of these, how good would it be if it burnt the cd at the same time as well!

Yeah I'll definitely have a look into one of these. I'm using lightscribe currently...which still might work out a bit cheaper at the moment. It's just how long they take that I'm a bit over. thanks for the post.
