Dear Promoter
Much like the Dear Mark James thread, this aims to all promoters who feel they have what it takes to bring out certain acts users of this forum feel the public are interested in.

now, i'm hoping people dont just post acts they personally want to see, there are thousands of acts that you may love but majority of people have never heard of, and realistically, they will never get booked as a promoter would make no money on it.

try to keep to artists that you feel would have public appeal as well as that you personally would like to see.

try to keep the negativity to a minimum too, you may not want to see an act as others may not want to see an act you like, try to see it from others points of view too.
(e.g. me hating adam k or deadmau5, but realistically would pull a crowd).

ok so i'll start this off with just a couple names i think would go well.

For me, I'd like to see
Bruna (Live)
Marc Marzenit (Live)
Henry Saiz (Live)
Spirit Catcher (Live)
Way out West (Live)
Orbital
Underworld
Jeff Mills
Jody Wisternoff
Milton Jackson
So many more...

And importantly, all those acts need to be in an environment that suits them. For example, an underworld tour which involves them supported by people like Presest and Aston Shuffle is not really a good option IMO.

The most important thing for me is that the promoters organise artists who actually have some sort of musical similarity.

I want to know:
do I get free entry?
do I get free drinks all night?
do I get to play b2b with HOSH?
do I get high class hookers provided to me to indulge my every fantasy?
do I get to dictate how many people in the venue?

You know...all the normal stuff people want.
