I'm not sure which would be worse... Perth not being one of the four lucky cities, or Germany sending England packing from the World Cup...

Anyhoo, as per the livesets thread, here is a link to several John Askew mixes and livesets, dating back to 1998! In that selection you'll find his 2007 Essential Mix, which has to be heard to be believed (particularly its opening third).

If Askew does indeed come to Perth, I'll be as excited for that gig as much as I am for J00F's, as I hold the two artists/DJs in the same uber-high regard.

I've always enjoyed Activa Gary Maguire I haven't really gotten into much, bit too 'in your face' for my liking but looking forward to hear what comes of it

Speaking of new A&R's and more great news it was announced a few months ago that Ben Lost would once again be taking over then reigns at Lost.Language. Great news IMO

yeah same!

the only thing is in Perth we have 4 internationals + Binary Finary - so they will each only get 1.5hrs at the most probably would prefer longer sets..

In regards to askew holding hands with armin and oakie, well i dont really care as long as he keeps producing sick tunes. torture chamber is fucking nuts!

fucking caps locks and to the floor were both on armada and they were both sick. if his perfecto stuff is anything like that im happy. btw full moon party isn't half bad ...
