New remix from me....

Dylan Rhymes & Tom Real - Godzilla

Unsurprisingly given the track's name and the combined musical pedigree of those who made it the original is nothing short of a dancefloor destroying techno monster - slowly emerging from the deep before unleashing its full fury in the form of searing synths and a rolling bassline that promises to crush all those that dare stand in its sonic path! File this away under legendary as this timeless techno masterpiece (much like the legend of Godzilla) guarantees not to date and looks set to terrorize clubland for a very long time.

Pitting their remix strengths against the reptilian beast we have special guests Atomic Drop as well as label regulars Vandal, Dopamine, Caninesounds and Fussy Boy who makes his debut Lot49 appearance. In the usual Lot49 fashion this package includes something for everyone - electro house courtesy of Atomic Drop, stomping peak time breakbeat courtesy of Vandal, noisy indie-nu disco vibes via Fussy Boy, Dopamine delivering his signature hybrid blend of techno / tech house flavours and last but certainly not least Caninesounds take things deeper for those who prefer their music with a minimalistic slant.

Out now @ Beatport https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/...16191/Godzilla

[CESIRIAS 002] RODENT RAMPAGE EP_X-Tension_DSP_AF_Buchecha

[UK]
This dancefloor ravaging second release reveals the label's steady earning of a reputation as a reliable source for quality and original audio material.

The concept of the label arose from the current confusion which occurs with the pigeonholing and separatism of musical genres, sub-genres and more. The influences of the label lie mainly in the areas of Techno, Hard Techno and Hardcore, but rather than being either one or the other, the music is presented as a mixture of these influences under the umbrella concept of 'Original Gross Beats'.

[FR]

Luke's Anger "Zapp The P'ram EP"
Don't 17

DON'T RECORDINGS come correct with a brand new surprise release from none other than Luke's Anger..
Luke made his world debut in 2005 on DON'T 007 - THE RUMPUS ROOM VOL.1 (repressed and available again) with the now classic 'DIRTY ON THE FLOOR' and since then has been making quite a name for himself launching his own imprint BONUS ROUND and guesting on a plethora of different labels including kid606's Tigerbass not to mention 2006's 'FISTFUL OF DONKEYS EP' on DON'T.

Slidebar 03

The third Slidebar just so happens to be remixes of a track knocked together by Andrez Bergen (aka Funk Gadget). His original and the Birken mix are the ones I'm grooving to, I'm sure the other ones - while not my cup of tea -- are going to be equally appreciated by people with tastes other than what I have.

Martin Ladsky's Poker Flat release

Martin Landsky - Werkschau (PFR110. Release date 22/02/2010)
The bold and futuristic year of 2010 sees the release of ‚Werkshau‘, an unmixed compilation that gathers together a hand picked selection of the producer‘s favourite cuts. The music stands for all that he loves, and what he loves he puts on show! Summing up the Landsky sound, and looking back over the years one can‘t help but feel a deep underlying quality emanate from the music. Like subtle, mature fl avours running through a well-prepared banquet. This special E.P, capturing three choice tracks from those on offer on the compilaiton, includes some of our favourite Landsky material, re-visited. Firstly the seminal ‚1000 Miles‘ is re-interpreted and brought up-to date, with Landsky‘s ‚2000 Miles‘. A strong driving powerhouse of reduced acid signals and hypnotic synth phrases, its the sound of Martin Landsky, Future, Present and Past. A real deep running story of a track, ‚Naked‘ is rich with thick bass and phasing, tripping chords, running percussion and growing tension that never ends. Fitting to any occassion, the track was originally released on Landsky‘s own Intim Label and sounds as fresh now as the day it was released. Tying things up the taught, tense and grooving tones of ‚Monitor One‘ sail through. This futuristic house cut revolves around a staccato bass hook that drips with Funk, echoing of Landsky‘s DJ history that began before House was ever invented!

In the hot Australian summer of 1991, the eleven-year-old Michael Callander went missing somewhere between the beach and the bush along Victoria's Western Surf Coast.

Tired and alone, as the boy searched through sand and scrub for familiar faces, he fell into a panic.
His immediate concern was that he might never see his parents again.

However, upon review of this realisation, he soon felt some kind of inexplicable elation, an abnormal euphoria and an incredible sense of freedom.

It was the most anxious and exciting six minutes and six seconds of his childhood. Life's possibilities became endless. Michael's heightened sense of emotion became overwhelming and addictive.

Eighteen years later, during another bout of temporary elation, euphoria, freedom and panic... this time brought on by too many hours in the nightclubs... the 29-year-old Mike Callander attempted to document this omnipresent sensation.

The title is "Lost". The genre is Mike's attempt at 1991-style outdoor techno. The remix is by Craig McWhinney. The review is up to you.

Deepchild - Wench Placebo EP [Nightphunk]

1. Wench Placebo (Original Mix)
2. Wench Placebo (Joe Stawarz Remix)
3. Wench Placebo (Stratasoul Remix)

Nightphunk Recordings is very proud to welcome Deepchild on board. Rick Bull is well know and respected producer with many great releases on labels such as Get Physical, Freerange, Traum, BEEF, Kaato and Resopal. Wench Placebo is a dubby tune with twisted atmosphere that is so significant for Deepchild's latest productions.

We also have two extraordinary remixes. The first is from Joe Stawarz who won the Beatport Slam remix competition in 2008 and subsequently was signed to Soma Recordings. Really cool stripped back tech house interpretation. The second remix is by Slovakian Stratasoul who brings some fresh, laidback feel to the whole EP.

Pinksilver stalwart and label co-owner Markojux (Mark Baumann) delivers his first full EP on Pinksilver Music’s Digital imprint with the sublime “Too Little Too Late” EP.

Weaving his way through luscious strings, dreamy piano chords and abstract vocals, Markojux stamps his unique style on this multilayered deep house release.

“Tech My Jazz” features the sublime piano keys of Colin Snape (aka Scrambler) alongside Markojux’s intricate drum patterns, delivering true avant-garde house that many electronic producers can only ever imitate.

“Just One Minute” continues the subterranean feel of the release, a track reminiscent of Hamburg’s Dial label & more famously Lawrence’s introspective, heart-felt melodies.

“Walk With Me” delivers another reflective, melancholy piece that sits proudly within the framework of the release, laden with a groovy 4/4 kick amongst wistful keys and pads.

The final track of the EP features Pinksilver favourite Miguel Colmenares with his remix of “Tech My Jazz”. Delivering his own inimitable & funky style to the table, Miguel makes “Tech My Jazz” sound uniquely his own to finely round-off a quality release from one of Australia’s most underrated producers.

For lovers of fine house music.

Tracklisting:

01 – Markojux – Tech My Jazz Feat. Colin Snape
02 – Markojux – Just One Minute
03 – Markojux – Walk With Me
04 – Markojux – Tech My Jazz (Miguel Colmenares Remix)

Si Begg
"The Bleeps"

Mutate 06

"I don't normally post too much Si Begg, but this one I enjoyed a bit of. The Original mix and the Shades of Rhythm remix will most likely get some air time from me. I had high hopes for the Unique 3 remix, but I feel it came off sounding too modern housey."

This is what Trevor Wilkes @ Fun in the Murky says; personally I haven't had a chance to listen to this record yet!
Still, I'm a big Si Begg fan so can't wait to do so...

A2 - The Bleeps (Unique 3's Themepark Remix)
B1 - The Bleeps (Shades Of Rhythm Remix)

"2010: Melbourne producer "Smile on Impact" begins, what will be a mammoth year, with the release of 'She Said She Loved Me & I Remembered the Fire'. A 2 track EP and 'Double A-Side' of monster Electro cuts. 'She Said She Loved Me' has a pokey kick drum and slightly shuffled beats, creating an infectious rhythm building to a massive synth drop. 'I Remembered the Fire' features large electro organs, house drums and cheeky 'talk-box bass' topped with Jamaican flavors.
These tracks deliver the class and hint at potential of Smile on Impact's production. The first release on 'DONT DOO DAT' for 2010 which will be our biggest year yet, with a string of tracks already loaded and set for release."

The Loops of Fury - SOAP [U&A] (w/ Hatiras Remix)

THE LOOPS OF FURY
SOAP (Original / Peo de Pitte / Hatiras Mixes)
[UAA030]
Beatport Exclusive :: 08/Feb-10

Available now on Beatport
http://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/c...il/217807/Soap

Brisbane-based crew, The Loops of Fury, had a stellar 2009. The dynamic duo shot to attention with their huge 'Flick A Switch' single which reached the Beatport Top 3 and spent a cool 2 months inside the Top 30 making it one of U&A's biggest sellers to date. Since then they have remixed Dirty Super Car, Mike Hulme, Meat Katie & Dylan Rhymes and delivered not one, but two awesome slices of next-level electro-techno. The first of these, 'SOAP' is due to drop soon with a fine, fine pair of remixes.

Peo de Pitte steps up to the plate first and knocks the ball straight out of the park, down the street & right in YO MAMA's FACE with as awesome a slice of genre-bending lunacy as you will hear all year. Rounding off the package with a dirty, wonky, warehousey, grind, we're thrilled to welcome Hatrax boss & all-round production genius, Hatiras to complete things with style.

Press backing for this includes ...

"Both original and Peo mixes do it for me big style!! Full club support and review in iDJ too!! BIG! 5/5"
[RECOMMENDED SINGLE, iDJ]
"Matrix style genre-bending from The Loops, who deliver an absolutely smashing single that turns electro and techno beyond levels of awesome." [INTHEMIX MAGAZINE]
"Another great track from The Loops Of Fury, its the got the same energy that worked so well on 'Flick A Switch' , am really liking the mix from Hatiras as well, the bassline gives the track an extra edge.." [Kai1 (CORE MAGAZINE)]
"Awesome release, great tracks from all!" [Mr. No Hands (MIXMAG Reviews)]
"Heavy weight tunes. I love the original, but the winner for me is the Peo de Pitte Mix what a bassline and the Hatrias mix is tight. Big ups. 5/5" [EQ MAGAZINE]
"The Loops Of Fury tune is massive! love it. But how can i describe Peo De Pitte remix? i think "gargantuan" is not enough. Superb release." [LAIF MAGAZINE]

Key DJs backing this include ...

"Excellent. Will hammer it. 5/5" [Plump DJs (Grand Hotel)]
"The original mix is really filthy and sounds like it could cut skin with it's jagged edges. rock n' roll." [JELO (The Love Bug)]
"Super Phat original from the Loops of Fury.. with both remixs doing more than justice to it. Every tune here is massive... more plz.." [Will White (Propellerheads)]
"We're all over the Peo de Pitte mix. Can't wait to drop the big fella in the mix!" [The Crystal Method]
"Super solid release - Hatiras mix has the edge" [Aquasky (Passenger)]
"Love The Peo de Pitte Remix" [NAPT (Funkatech)]
"The Peo De Pitte is the best breaks track i have heard for soooooo long, wicked package as expected ;-)" [Meat Katie (Lot 49)]
"Disgusting ... in a good way, of course!" [DJ Bam Bam (Various)]
"Great package. Love the original, and an excellent choice of remixers." [Jon Carter]
"Nothing to stop it sounding awesome in the mix." [Justin Rushmore (Soul of Man)]
"Outstanding track and remixes. Love the elevating bass riffs and aggressive programing. Simply sick!" [Simply Jeff (Phonomental)]
"Quality package. The original & Peo's mix are the business" [Vandal (Lot 49)]
"Insane is the only word to describe this killer tune. Not for dancefloors that want rainbows and gum drop smiles. the original and the Peo mix is rocking my boat" [Janette Slack (Mixmag, Earworm)]
"Peo mix all the way for me! This boy is big in the game!" [Dylan Rhymes (Lot 49)]
"Peo de Pitte mix is sick, one of the baddest breakdowns I've heard lately, ace production and soulfull vibes, will play and chart" [Maelstrom (Expresillion)]
"Dance floor killer pack !! Original & both remix are sick ***BOOOOOOM***" [Electric Soulside (Plasmapool)]
"Peo De Pitte Rmx is WICKED. Beats sound awesome. Original is hella chunky too. Great release." [Nick Thayer (Revolver)]

Sam Hell - Mothership with Rektchordz + Superpolitik Rmx [TC010]

SAM HELL - MOTHERSHIP with remixes from Rektchordz and Superpolitik [TC010]

For our tenth release we welcome electro-breakbeat tweakhead Sam Hell, who leans towards the electro-house tip with his original Mothership. The track mashes huge beats, piano, strings and a large bassline into an experience that's simply out of this world! Be sure to also check out his Zero-G electro-house sample pack here: http://www.zero-g.co.uk/index.cfm?articleid=1057

On remix duty is tech-funk maestro Rektchordz, who delivers pure bass-face groove with his gorgeous filtered bassline, tribal-influenced percussion and 4AM rave ambience.

Last up is Trickery Collective's own Superpolitik, who runs wild with the sci-fi theme and goes for breathy vocal stabs, a squelchy bassline and some oldschool vocal samples. Beam me up indeed!

VARIOUS ARTISTS
IFFY BIZNESS VOL. 2

Hypnotic Room

OUT TODAY.

Hot on the precariously high heels of celebrating 15 years on the go and their 100th release since 1995 comes this enticing second showcase compilation of Tokyo/Melbourne label IF? Records.

IF? have spent the past 12 months putting out a rash of somewhat eclectic but never less than scintillating releases from Luke’s Anger, Dasha Rush, Wyndell Long, Little Nobody, Son Of Zev, DJ Fodder, Takashi Watanabe (DJ Warp), Alone Together, Enclave, Koda, Dave Tarrida, Ben Pest, Donk Boys, Toshiyuki Yasuda and others – with great feedback arising every now and then from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Claude Young, Orlando Voorn, Jerome Hill, Ken Ishii, Anthony Shakir and Steve Poindexter.

Compiled by DJ Hi-Shock and IF? label boss Andrez Bergen, ‘Iffy Bizness Vol. 2′ follows straight on from the hugely successful first compilation released last year, and explores the IF? label’s wonderful slower techno moments, the infectious tech-house they’ve slipped through, and some asides into intelligent glitch-minimalism that we actually dig – a whole lot.

Come with us to explore a global bucket-load of tunes made by talented musicians both famous and not (quite yet), conjuring up tunes in an atmosphere where the only label perimeters have always been to “do what you do best, and make what you’d prefer to make”.

Innovative, fascinating, and straight out lovely – this is the future as much as it’s been the past for 15 strong years.

TRACK LIST

1. Craig McWhinney – Confined Spaces
2. Enclave – Ironyism (Ben Mill remix)
3. Kultrun – Underground
4. Toshiyuki Yasuda – Pink House (Little Nobody Remix)

Gobsmacked 046 & 047

Gobsmacked drops two funky, heavy and downright filthy techno releases that are sure to get you hot and bothered..

Gobsmacked 046 features the contrasting sounds of the funky and upbeat George Privatti towards the dark and intense techno of Niko Hill and Luke Creed. Energetic and filthy stuff.

Gobsmacked 047 drops five wicked remix's of 'Fat Funk Flav' by the infamous Dj Kamikaze which he recently dropped on the fittingly named 'Gobsmacked Ep'. Remix's from Aka Carl, Luke Creed & Karl Cullen, Mike Turrento, Mike Absolom and Captain Random.

Check them out here - http://www.junodownload.com/labels/Gobsmacked/releases

Or on any electronic music orientated website.

Coming next month, Neutrons from Vegim and Selfish Bass from Diarmaid O Meara.. In April we will be celebrating our 50th release with a MASSIVE compilation of over a dozen tracks from over a dozen Global techno players.. keep an eye out!

Available to purchase in all major download stores
Distributed Through Kudos Digital

The 7th release on Clubbed Up Recordings is an exciting one, for it the label introduces their first major producer to the remix duties to compliment overall a hugely versatile release. Danny Roberts & James Garside team up once again to bring a more deeper heavier techno affair. The twisted heavy beat to the track complete with choppy percussion and scatty hook line is a different angle compared to their previous collabs but does the trick providing a tough number from start to finish.

On remix duties we invite the talents of one of the most all-round producers (and DJs) who has been in the game and on the scene for longer than he would care to remember. Chris Finke has been responsible for some hot tracks over the past few years including the storming "Shut That Door" and the Radio One airplayed "Petrol Bomb" amongst others on his own 'Flux' imprint, supported by A-Listers worldwide. His residency at the illustrious Atomic Jam has been one of the many mixing grounds on the planet for him to promote his sound and talent... his remix will go down a storm!!

Invited to the party are regualrs on the production scene Michael Hooker & Elcias De Freitas. Their remixes on "Moments Of Clarity" and "Killer" have recieved overwhelming support, and the "Deep Vein EP" hit the stores in December and has been a regular fixture in clubs since the promos landed. Having recieved support from the likes of John Digweed and Sander Kleinenberg, its easy to see the bright future these lads have and their tasty remix should get your feet tapping.

Dave Irvine
is new to the Clubbed Up Family, and from this remix... he will be invited back on many occassions! His Prehab club nights and record label have been a huge hit in London and have seen him play as far away as Dubai. A recent release of his, "Down The Front" has done wonders in the record stores and earned huge praise on Trackitdown, his heavier take on the original will please the more pumped up tribal crazied techno heads for certain!

Clubbed Up Recordings has been picking up some great support and positive feedback for past and forthcoming releases by the likes of Mark Broom, Perc, Paul Mac, Chris Finke, Jamie Gittens, Mr Henry Von and Lee Pennington. Please keep your feedback coming and thanks for the support!

Virgil Enzinger / Stereo Underground / Sam Paganini - The Three Laws (Part I)

This has been making the rounds on vinyl recently. Scored 6 out of 6 in Raveline review and now this collection is also out on digital.

Top quality production on all 3 tracks.

[APD001] cat jazz ep | Lopazz & Eddie Zarook
digital out now:

APD001 CAT JAZZ EP // Lopazz & Eddie Zarook

CATJAZZ EP it's the first digital release on Apparel Music and Eddie Zarook and Lopazz are a pair incredible.
The EP contains three essays of deep music, from ONEONE that takes us toward the low-speed memory. Vinyl cut and symphony light make this track the banner of-concept Zarook Lopazz.
In TWOTWO we see a very funky ride pressing, we seems to know the song for a long time.
THREETHREE it's a bomb!
The atmosphere is interesting and FOURFOUR convinces the palate with a little more dryness, and the music Deep "Come back home".
To complete the Release the firsts remix's on APD: one begins with Tornike, who found the bread for his teeth with TWOTWO; the ball is for Cella, man fucking minimal, a few words; Francesco Gemelli transports us with vocal samples in the middle of the 90s, when the House Classic that enactment of the law.

for order and prelistening pleasure, please klick here: what people play

[foundsound21] barem – heyday ep (paul ritch + more)
12” vinyl and digital release courtesy of foundsound records...

foundsound-22
artist: barem
title: heyday ep
remixes by: paul ritch, ronan portela, jorge savoretti
beatport release date: february 23, 2010
vinyl release date: march 8, 2010
other digital sites release date (juno, wpp, etc.): march 9, 1020

barem of minus and foundsound fame finally delivers another bomb on foundsound records. and you get an emotive big room killer remix courtesy of paul ritch. plus you get two floor-pumping tech-house remixes courtesy of ronan portela and jorge savoretti.

on a1 – “heyday” – our argentinean friend barem delivers an eleven-minute minimal anthem. both haunting and blissful, this track flows as if going from night into day. it starts off dark and groovy with reverberating vocal cuts, a bouncy bassline and captivating breakdowns. as the track progresses, it gently morphs into something perfect for any sunrise – with enchanting guitar chords, a perfect little house hi-hat, a perfect little clap, and an irresistible groove that heightens any party into the morning hours.

on b1 – “heyday (paul ritch remix)” – you get just under nine minutes of club-storming tech-house with a remix from parisian paul ritch – known for releases on labels like get physical music, wagon repair, resopal schallware, drumcode, and the list goes on. this big room gem carries over the darkness of the vocal cuts from barem’s original version along with an almost proggy, early-morning intensity that is fueled by swirling melodies, enthralling delays and a groovy bassline that’ll have people bouncing and floating all over the dancefloor.

on track 3 (digital only) – “heyday (ronan portela remix)” – argentina’s ronan portela makes a super-sweet follow-up to his ep on foundsound, piumino ep (found-22), which continues to be played and charted by super-duper djs like richie hawtin and others. on this remix, you get an uplifting, oh-so-fun-to-play, groovy-as-hell tech-house bomb that’ll have people bouncing through the roof. it’s powerful, delightfully intense, and perfectly groovy.

on track 4 (digital only) – “heyday (jorge savoretti remix)” – jorge savoretti, another argentinean, of esperanza fame, delivers a deep and wondrously groovy tech-house nugget that’ll have peeps floating through a mesmerizing vocal loop, reverberated congas, a bouncy groove, and breakdowns that make ‘em go “wooooooo!”

woo-hoo!
