^ totally agree...the acting is definetly sub-par in comparison to shows like dexter, true blood etc

Yeh thats how i felt about it, good premise and the ep was by no means shit but it could have been done better.

The season final was ok but not really what you would expect for the last episode....it was more of a mid season episode if you ask me.

I'm not sure if its me or not but the acting is just getting worse and worse....

I thought it was rubbish. Acting is terrible, show lost its cinematic feel and after the awesome first episode I've been consistently more and more disappointed with each one.

Won't be wasting my download quota on the second season.

I enjoyed the parts with the zombies.

After only 6 episodes you really couldn't expect more of a wrap up though. I think they left things at about the right spot.

Yeah, in fail town.

Every episode after the first got progressively worse.

I'll give it another 2-3 episodes and if the quality doesn't improve dramatically, the show is d-e-a-d to me.

Mud. One thing I did rate about the first season was the general quality of the production, and the gore in particular. If it drops in that aspect, it's fucked.

Hopefully they don't worry about so obviously freshening up the female character's makeup every 5 seconds in this season even though it's meant to be set in post apocalyptic times. That sort of attitude really bugs me in some shows - "We want our characters to be beautiful more than we want actual realism thanks."

Don't remember the female characters in S1 being that scrubbed up, there was only one who looked remotely fuckable I thought (and she got killed off fairly early).

Why? They look just as good on an e-ink screen as on paper, provided they're in black and white originally. Sure you lose the whole collectability side of it but I never gave a fuck about that personally, I just like enjoying them for what they are.

Top is a "single issue", ie what you buy off the shelf in a comic shop.

This is a TPB (trade paperback), ie a collection of single issues. Usually no less than 5 and no more than 8. Walking Dead ones are always 6.



The bottom is a compendium edition. Not every title comes out in collections like this.

Piracy is becoming an issue, but I think it's mostly the people like SpaceMonkey who wouldn't normally buy them anyway. Not really losing sales. I guess.

Nothing beats holding a comic, though. Nothing. I DNW electronic versions, thanks.

I agree honestly. Fuck those e-readers. They cant be good for your eyes, either. With that said, once I'm back up and earning moneys, will be buying the hardcover 'books' I linked above.
