actually that leaked/fake image looks quiet probable.

i dont see why someone would fake an image of that though lol

i assume hyperjob is so you can use your jog wheel to flick VERY quickly to a certain point in the song, or similar?

http://forums.pioneerdj.com/eve/foru...4/m/3741065014

its that.

which makes me think, if its on a previous model, and i heard they were take a few ideas off the dvjs for the new cdj, this could be it.

On August 20, 2009, James Zabiela commented...
For the record I've never touched drugs in my life!

I was pooped when we filmed this. I hadn't slept and was in the middle of 5 gigs in 6 days and feeling really under the weather. I also hate being filmed for stuff like this, I get nervous.

I asked Pioneer to make it look gritty, so they filmed it with really bad lighting and turned up the noise. This is why I look like I'm a heroin addict :lol

ANYWAY, excited about these things. I think they'll release more information over the next few weeks as we actually filmed quite a bit (although I might ask them to use someone else's footage as I don't want people to think I'm turning into Kurt Cobain, as much as he's a hero of mine I'm not really that rock n roll)!

Anyway back to the topic of these players

Jz (I actually don't know what day it is most of time) HA!

As much as i love the denon dnhs5500 its great that pioneer is making this.. soon it wont be out of the norm to take a couple of portable harddrives out whereever you go
soon everyone will be buying portable external harddives rather than cd cases/bags

Depends what you definition of efficient is.

I run 1 CD per release, ordered by label (hardstyle

Finding songs this way to me its 10000000000000x times better then using a mouse, or a midi controller to search for tracks,

But its all up to personal preference right?

p.s. how long did it take you to buy 30gigs of hardstyle, or PIRATE??

from then on.. not eveyone pirates tracks just some get a bit

Wow slackas, you do put alot of effort into your cds dont you? how long you been mixing and cellecting music like this for? i used to do it your way (minus the flashy printed covers), but now its just so much quicker and economical to just burn 2 copies of a cd with 7-10 tracks on them

I used to do the whole 7-10 tracks per disc when i played mainstream. I played hardstyle but only on Vinyl.

Did this up until around 3 months ago (3+ years ive owned CDJs)

Now that i play hardstyle on cd's, (and have done away with mainstream) i like to have it like this.

It does take a bit to setup but as i have a CD printer and a macbook pro its really quick.

- I set up my tracks in itunes, put the new track into a playlist, burn it,

- Goto Disclabel which auto reads from itunes,

- Soon as its burned i print it, no typing needed.

Yeah they will keep getting all there endorsed/sold out DJ's to push the product... the funny thing is they probably haven't even seen a prototype of the player and they still get behind it??

The likes of Zabiela and Armin have most likely not only seen them and tested them out, but probably had a big say in development during the testing phase too.

I know if I was the head of Pioneer I'd be getting some of the biggest names to give back some input.

I find it odd how he says he's not a fan of staring at the laptop screen all night when refering to a DVS system, but I mean come on, it's gotta be way easier and quicker to find a track you want through mouse + laptop control then it would be to use fiddly control options built into a CDJ to find shit off its hard drive! You'll just end up staring at the CDJ all night instead of a laptop screen.

Sound like a nice idea and all, but it better have some damned awesome fucntionality for navigating your folders and finding your tracks else it'll be painful once you've got more and a couple of gigs of singles on there.
Pete Gordon - Deep and Low

Slower tempo but still with balls, deephouse, slow-mo, futurehouse, nudeep, indie, nudisco, hints of progressive, whatever the fuck you want to call it, just good shit! Get on it

i guess we can all just rock up with a couple of ipods with our tracks stored on them...
some advantages there, some disadvantages as well... i like my DVS tho - don't think i'll be switching for quite a while...

Actually, it contains parts from DVJ-1000, CDJ-1000, CDJ-400 and MEP-7000 ... so? There is something DJs are expecting from Pioneer equipment and that doesn't give them too much room to bring any earthshaking changes to their design. Plus, the hypothesized picture matches what we can see from the actual published teaser advertisement.

I personally believe I'm not too far off. Though I'm giving Pioneer the benefit of doubt that they might actually be able to surprise me (whether that will be a pleasant surprise or not, I'm not certain).

What I should have said is that I can tell it's been photoshoped. I thought it was being passed off as real or a leaked image, just like mine I did a few months ago lol;

rumour: there will be 3 new versions of the cdj released replacing the 800. 1000 and a new high end model.
The new 800 replacement will be priced similarly to the current cdj1000, and the other two will be even more.

Quite possibly bullshit, but I guess the "new species" will be out in a few weeks.... so we'll find out then
