Seeing as they replaced/reformulated coke with new coke, rather than offering it as a new product line, it's not really comparable.

Still a stupid name though.

technically new coke did end up running as a second product line until it eventually fell off the shelves due to lack of sales.

and potentially this can have a negative impact on sales of vegemite so I do actually think it's comparable because at the end of the day all great marketing fuck ups end up being compared to new coke.
