1200's to CDJ 1000's
Anyone and everyone,

I'm just wondering is anyone interested in a trade-off?
I have 1200's MK2's that have been recently calibrated and rca cables and parts have all been updated. They are serato ready... Anyone interested in switching formats?? it's a long shot but I said I'd ask anyway... Main reason is basically due to the style I play and I'm no expert when it comes to scratching so I'm keen to go back to digital

Obviously there is a price difference which I'm quiet happy to address aswell!

Cheers

Yeah no worries as in the ground wire has been soldered inside the decks! It basically sounds like crap if you dont use the ground wires with serato. The rca's have all been replaced so if you have a serato set-up it will work straight away...

hehe, i think they could be internally soldered to ground, and the power cable has been changed over to the 3-prong one which has ground.

otherwise, fail!

How does this differ from putting it on the earth post on the mixer?

Im going the other way! I have used 1000s extensively in club environments and they are easy as sh*t, i had cdj800s, swapped it for a cdj1000.

So now my setup is 2 1200s, traktor duo and a CDJ1000

I still only use CD's when im out but i find vinyl mixing a lot more fun, and going to get some midi control to add some fun/cue points/loops in relative mode.

Not sure if ill ever use the DVS out, but when i finially use the CDJ2000 out, ill just usb from computer and use my already cue/looped/effected traktor collection win!

all this and i still collect vinyl here and there

Yeah they are internally soldered! It's just far cleaner

ahh right on, i forgot RCA had grounding as well.

i don't think it is any difference between this and hooking up your ground cable to the mixer, except for about 30 seconds less work hehe.
