Had a trip up to Hotham over the weekend and on the way back got stuck in to Nubreed's and Phil's Y4K compilations and forgot how awesome that type of sound was. Acidy, tripped out robot vomiting sounds on both discs.

Need to track down copies of Fortier's and Pappa's Balance CD's as my originals are rooted.
Well, we all probably should have listened more intently when Michael Jackson repeatedly advised us how bad he was.

Yeah I've been doing a Y4K retrospective recently, such a brilliant series - Nubreed and Hybrid (as but two examples) still sound amazing some 7-8 years later....

I try so hard to find new prog breaks I like but so much of it sounds so cheap and just bad Can someone help me out, PLEASE? I know there still has to be good stuff somewhere, and I still love prog breaks cos I'll listen to the old shit and be all like "damn, CHOON", but I just can't find anything new that sounds particularly well-produced or not just really bad electro-house-breaks-crap.
