I just found out there is a BETA of this available, which Eidos have embraced the fact that it's been leaked and full endorse people to go and write about it on their forums so the developers can take in that info.

I'll probably wait though.

I got it as soon as it leaked. Absolutely brilliant.

So I downloaded the BETA, first impressions are that it looks great, interaction is cool.
Though I'm not terribly engrossed by the controls of it, I guess I'll probably get the hang of it after a while but at the moment I'm not liking it.
The mouse sensitivity is either too slow or too fast.

PC Gamer reviewed the finished copy and gave it 94, Editor's Choice award.

I was a bit annoyed by the mouse sensitivity but with a bit of fiddling and time, you get used to it. I think the devs mentioned they were going to improve it by final build, though I was already quite accustomed to the controls 10 hours in.

The Augmented Edition boxed is $99, dunno how much the standard boxed PC edition is.

re: greenman gaming, that looks cool but I don't really care at all about the spergy collector's trinkets; just the extra in-game content (particularly the explosive mission pack). Doesn't really matter much though, and I'll probably just leave it a few months then buy this off steam (I assume I'll need to buy a proper video card first, lol) and if the bonus mission etc are available by then, then cool, if not, meh

Found the save files. Tried to replace them with the beta ones. Wouldn't load. Oh well...
