^ Was thinking of going the 850's actually, but if the 900s are slugish maybe the 850s are a bad idea. Plus they could just fix that with software updates. Was also thinking the 1000s. But will probably just stick to TTs and a DVS, but upgrade from torq.

TBH i hate the new CDJ's, take ages to load cds and i find crap to play on compared to thje 1000's

and van buuren did the same wash over every mix with the same shitty build everytime.
dont get me wrong Im a fan of Van buurens work and sets, but IMO it just seems like the standard is dropping not escalating.
to add to that, all the stage's were playing the same shit genre of house, and no one noticed.

it seems that here, most clubs/festivals have taken to sticking to the charts, bar a few.

just a bit of coal to keep it burning really

just thought i'd highlight the issue on this one

So you reckon if I were to look for a pair of new CDJs don't bother with the 850s or 900s? but look for a pair of second hand 1000s?

I dunno, some people love the new units. I've only played with the 2000's in clubs and not a fan

I'm just used to the 1000's i guess.

yeah loading times, I've even noticed with the 900's when your operating certain things have a delay response time.

2000's didnt do that for me however, and ive never tried the 850's

yea i think firmware update fixed some slow response, but the 1000's are still better than the new line of players on load times.
