The technological imprints on Larkin’s past has undoubtedly aided him to forge his musical futurism into new and innovative areas since the beginning.

It was May’s weekly radio show that helped to inspire Larkin to stride down the pathway of music production. Other...

Rockin party,

needed to go for longer though, but otherwise it was a top night

Great way to celebrate my birthday with some close friends (you know who you are!)

First time I'd seen Bleepin J, they brought the ACID!!!!!!!!!!

2 x 303s!!!!!!!!!!!

Kenny was fantastic

Thanks HAHA

Can't wait for the next Versus!

Bleeping J was the set of the night, warm analogue sounds with maaaaad acid sounds through out their set.

Kenny playing a remix of Blondie - Rapture was awesome!

Which could very well of been this remix -

Was good fun, but have to say that Kenny's mix was a bit of a flatliner (but that filter-house track that he played around 2:10AM was awesome!)

I've been the first to get on here and hype previous HAHAs, they've been some of the best parties in sydney in the last 12 months. Honestly, I think people were starting to think you guys were paying me given the hype I was spreading.

But correspondingly, I'll be the first one to get on here and say that last night was lacklustre. All round poorer show in terms of crowd and music than either Deetron OR Vince Watson/Juan Atkins. That's not to say it was a *bad* party, but it just didn't live up to my (admittedly high) expectations. It was still better than 90% of parties in sydney and I definately still enjoyed myself.

KL's set was average at best. The guys on before him playing live were awesome.

Ergh... My main thought about the night was that Caldwell's set was better than usual and he was the best act of the night.

I spent a lot of it outside chatting with people, whereas usually I'd be dragged back inside by the sound of awesome music. It just wasn't quite awesome enough for me though...

Why??? I too thought Larkin was average. Caldwell was so much better, and Bleepin J. OMG can you say ACIIIIIIID.
truth be told, I didn't even care much for Larkin. The guys before him stole the night imo.
Sides, you weren't even there.

Yeah Larkin was really average.

Played a few really good tunes, but they were surrounded by a stack of boring ones and the flow was little to non existent.

They guys before hand were great though.

Missed Simon, loved Bleeping J, Kenny had some moments but overall Juan kicked his arse, and I thought the HAHA boys bringing it home was great. Good to bump into lots of people, top times. Here's to another 6 years guys.

Kenny is a great producer - Keys Strings and Tambourines..

But besides that wouldn't go and see him (again) unless maybe a live show?

I wouldn't know about a live show/can't comment. but yeah, he was lacklustre compared to the support acts that nights.
Perhaps he needed a few hours to get into groove? He seems like the kind of guy who'd like to play 4 hours with a couple more spliffs and another record bag? It felt a bit like he underestimated the Sydney crowd?

His set won't go astray at Spice Cellar, but I don't imagine I'll attend.

Yeah he was pretty horrid last year, which was a massive disappointment as his recent production had been fantastic. No flow, and pretty much a top 10 of beatport deep house/techno tunes.

Kenny playing vinyl was one of the best things I've seen/heard, Kenny at the bowlo playing off a laptop just didn't work. He looked bored shitless, and the by the end of his set the crowd was bored shitless.

Go back to vinylz Kenneh, you ain't no traktor dj

Most of his FB updates are him fapping about his top 10 tunes in beatport charts :/

A shame

Seems like I've missed my chance to see Kenny. Don't think I'll go in September if the feedback about him from people's opinions I trust is now overwhelmingly negative. Shame really because I'd love to see him at least once, but I don't know I want to have the mystique ruined if he plays a crap set.
