I still have my first hoodie. My brother bought it for me when I was about 12. It was massive, and still fits. It was a green one, the brand was Flip, and it has a picture of a flower on the front.

If I could find a place that sold online, I'd be in the zone.

I've picked up a few ok blank one's since but the one I lost was too perfect. Nice and floppy with a thin hood and I'd made some killer thumb holes in the sleeves..everyone i've found since has been too heavy/stiff.

Even brands are cheap if you know where to buy. Nike, DC, Volcom etc from Eastbay for $40 or even less.

Autumn's arrived, just went and bought two new plain hoodies, one black and one light tan/cream sorta colour. I'm a sucker for the whole "1/2 price on the second item" thing....

Man. I just got my first order of AApparel hoodies today, and was a bit disapointed cos it was prety baggy, thought, that's it, not buying anything else off the internet, let's see what's happening in Lifestyle to take my mind off my credit card .. and you fucks started a thread on hoodies! Must say though, you've made me feel better about my purchase. My fav hoodie was a tight little AA red number, with black jeans and some killer cons, I could do no wrong. But it has seen it's day. Got some TNK and threadless love as well ... please keep the brands/links coming for hoodie love!!

Though, am also digging a crew neck recently. Feel a bit traitorish.... hoodies are an institution.

Best bet is to go into the store, try it on, work out what size you are, then buy it for cheap online.

We have no AA in Perth!!

Otherwise I would. That's what I do for the rest of my clothes hehe .. that aside, wearing new hoodie now, and think I'll get used to the bagginess. It's so freakin cuddly I feel like a panda bear!

dress hoodies are hard, but it can be done... the one I picked up recently is about as formal a hoodie as you can get as it's tight and the hood isn't massive.

I have a sweet Quicksilver hoodie that is corduroy design but it looks very nice at the same time, can pass for formal/dressy.

I've always hated hoodies, except when I was in primary school because I thought it made me look like a wizard

That being said, I'm wearing a blue hoodie at the moment and it is pretty sweet, ha ha

Seriously, I can see the point of them but I have mates who wear band hoodies. It's pointless because the hood usually covers up the design on the back...

(Vaguely related) I'm getting the following shirt from Finland, could have got a hoodie version if I didn't like this design better:
