There is no way one lap's fuel adds .4 to you time. If that was the case, in a 60 lap race we would see lap times come down by 24 seconds over the course of the race. We don't see that.

I don't think anyone is arguing against a penalty, I'm questioning the severity of the penalty. As far as I know, stewards are giving a lot of discretion when penalising infringements...If there is a list of penalties for a list of infringements, I'd like to know.
