yea and hate to flog a dead horse but back to the Arenas situation... it's actually looking early in this season that Washington muight have been better of holding onto him, i mean Wall is hamming shit up. You can take the Arenas out of Washington, but it's still Washington.

Spurs lose to the bucks after shooting at 60%. Before this game, teams that shoot 60% in a game were 91-1

Finally bought NBA league pass for the season! So good haha. Watched a few of the games today.
Best games were bucks/spurs and heat/warriors.

Great wins for bucks and warriors in OT

Portland played pretty well but dropped intensity towards the end
Portland is my pick to at least make conference finals.

Yea Timmy finally playing like his old self, Bogut though was certainly welcomed back by the Bucks and Stephen Jackson dominated that game. Parker had major issues with the handle.

He’s a an above average defender (particularly in the post) and has good timing and anticipation. He also brings to the table strength and aggressiveness.

However he is also a below average rebounder for his size and position, not a very good passer and has no natural offensive feel. He needs a defender to be directly behind him to go into his predicable post move and can’t take advantage of a defender being out of position. I don’t know how many times in Boston I saw him open and catch the ball deep in the post and then wait for the defender to recover instead of pivoting baseline a laying the ball in. It was maddening.

I think he needs a scoring PF next to him like KG in order for Perk to focus on the dirty things he’s good at.

Black Mamba Malt Liquor. Pouring 40's on all the homies.

Totally didn't expect him to still be doing those type of numbers & on decent shooting. Only fear is a burn out later during the year with the injuries not getting rested etc..

i gotta disagree. that game was awful to watch. so many missed open shots and free throws, so many bad calls. so frustrating despite it being close.

and hubie brown was seriously wearing me down, watched OT on mute

That rookie Isaiah Thomas was awesome for the second time so far this season, not bad for dead last pick in the draft.

reckon he's resembling Damon Stoudemire out there today... certainly not looking like a last pick, nice pick up by the kings.

speaking of skilled point guards, hopefully Mills is back soon and gets picked up by a team that can give him minutes.

is he going to end up staying in Portland?

Former Blazers guard Mills hopes to return to NBA

Posted Jan 12 2012 3:37PM - Updated Jan 12 2012 4:30PM

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Former Trail Blazers guard Patty Mills says he'd like to return to the NBA when the Chinese league that holds his rights releases him.

Mills, who is from Australia, was cut by the Xinjiang Flying Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association earlier this month because of a hamstring injury. The dismissal was controversial because the Tigers alleged he was faking the injury.

The 6-foot point guard known for his speed says his hamstring is on the mend. But before he can entertain offers from the NBA, the Chinese league must also grant him a "letter of clearance."

"It would be good to get released, obviously that's what I'm hoping for. We just don't know," Mills said Wednesday night after attending the Blazers' game against the Orlando Magic.

If he is let go, it's unlikely that Mills would return to Portland in the near future because the Blazers' roster is full, including point guards Raymond Felton, Nolan Smith and Armon Johnson. Portland would have to cut someone to bring him back.

"I'd love to be back here. I don't know the chances, but obviously I feel like I'm very close to the guys on the team here and obviously to the community," Mills said. "To come back to a place like this, it definitely feels like home to me."

Mills played at St. Mary's in California and grabbed international attention when he scored 20 points for Australia in the 2008 Olympics against the gold medal-winning U.S. team. He was the youngest basketball player in Beijing at 19.

He was drafted by the Blazers in 2009 and quickly became a fan favorite. He formed a close bond with the other foreign players on Portland's roster, Nicolas Batum and Rudy Fernandez.

In 74 career games, Mills averaged 5.1 points and 1.5 assists in 11.1 minutes, providing a spark off the bench.

He was popular for his cheerleading and towel-waving for the Blazers on the sidelines, and for flashing the "Three Goggles" gesture with his hands whenever he or a teammate made a 3-pointer.

Mills waved a towel again on Wednesday night when the Blazers rallied but ultimately fell to the Magic 107-104.

Portland center Marcus Camby shouted "Miss you!" to Mills across the locker room after the game.

A free agent, Mills said he plans to get healthy and obtain his clearance before entertaining offers from NBA teams.

He'll play in the London Olympics this summer with the Boomers, the nickname of Australia's national team.

Just putting a scenario out there...would NY entertain a Millsy signing for the rest of the season as they surely need a PG like Millsy and he be affordable...could play a similar bench role just like he did in Portland? Oh wait...Thunder have a roster spot open after Maynor ruled out for the season...definitely would love Millsy playing for Thunder...would def get a Millsy Thunder jersey!

Just saying.

Is that 4 in a row now for Miami?!
Man Lebron really needs to hit the gym and work on his free throws. Full credit to Denver though, they were on fire. hopefully wades injury isn't serious, as much as I like watching Miami lose, it's no good seeing a superstar go down hurt.

Clippers v lakers tomoro should be a cracker

Wade's ankle injury faaaaarkin' OUCH! That looked bad. 3 L's in a row and D-Wade most likely miss a few weeks just when you think the Heat are locks for the title they always find a way to get you questioning wether they can do it.

Nuggets on the other hand are proving to be a very decent time, I'd put them as my dark horse pick for the title.

Clips Vs Lakers tommorow will be great league pass + air con ftw tomorrow!

Rose is just impossible to stop, this lay up is a 10 on the difficulty scale you can't get a any more difficult than that and he still makes it.

It'll be interesting to see how the tough schedule this year affects older players like Kobe.
Younger guys such as rose will have a greater chance of lasting the distance and staying consistent.
3x 40+'s is pretty freakin impressive tho

Slow-mo of Wade's incident is farking gruesome to watch!

Nuggets over-achieving, but would love to see them do some damage in the western conference...I don't see Cavs beating Heat to the punch on getting the NBA title first...but looks like Nuggets within a good chance of getting a ring before Melo and his Knicks

That is some crazy team...only one I will dispute is Iguodala being there but surely he be the first to be cut...lets see how many of them pull out due to 'injuries' or just couldn't be farked to play for their country

Okay...I might have jumped the gun with the Iguodala call I re-phrase it...I don't see him being picked over the other guards (besides Eric Gordon) imo...yes, people will dispute this because of his versatility is a plus...but hey, just my 50 50 call and I know I have a good chance of being wrong...

hmmm i thought he was playing Small Forward and i like him there alot better than Odom. Versatility is clearly a strong suit, also you can move Kobe to the forward position with his 'old man' skillset.

Westbrick is the odd one out, sure he gets stats but he's not really a point guard or a shooting guard, his game doesn't really suit the international rules and playing style. Gordon is far better than Westbrick in this scenario.

Um Billups? He is the odd (old) man out. The guy has been on a steady decline since 2008 and has been on 4 different teams since. He was under rated in his early years, and is now utterly over-rated. He’s not even a good leader of young guys, which I imagine is the reason he is on the list.

yea i don't really rate Billups either but at least he has won a championship so yea probably that whole leader thing.

he's not that bad as a 4th string point guard though.

Think Billups is there to play a mentoring role...but with the talent in this team there's alot of players that can play that role, so just depends on injuries and who pulls out

Andre is a guard / forward...but you got Durrant, Melo and LeCock in the 3 spot...can't see Andre getting picked ahead of these 3 if healthy and the star power they carry......

Alright guys....why don't everyone make their picks on who be in the USA team...whats the max players allowed on an international roster?

that would be my pick, maybe Chandler but i presume they would try and spread the floor for shooters with Love and Aldridge playing Center and moving Melo and KD into the 4 spot at times.

most international 4's would get out rebounded by Melo and KD anyway.

Billups is a good pick, can consistently hit open jumpshots which is what basically every other team ever has over the USA.... need a few guys that just dont miss wide open...
