yeah, I am... pain in the ass that there's only ever one or 2 SQDM servers on Xbox though.

I actually like the gamestyle, just sick of getting mutilated or coming second by a few kills every time.

if you mean shooting others so you can gain points from yours, yeah fair call. but i think the point is that enemies can use ammo kits and med kits dropped down to help themselves. you wont get points but itll heal/resupply them. so you can shoot them if you need.

i always shoot enemy ones. if i dont need ammo and theres enemies about i''ll shoot it.
or if i see an enemy drop a kit and i kill them i'll destroy their kit.

I pick up enemy kits, drop ammo or health then swap back and watch the points roll in.

love picking up recon kits and putting down a tugs or a mav.

The video was posted 29 Nov 2011, which is a bit of a worry that the hack is still around.

This hack is weird (skip to about 0:59). The person just stands still and racks up kills with the medic kit. I never understand the point of hacking but I particularly don't understand this one where the hacker doesn't even do anything at all.

I was thinking the exact same thing the other day, can you imagine all the things you could graph/pivot table, you could go all sabermetric on stats to work out the best gun combo/ game play for certain maps, logging your improvement over time, whether you should spend time capping flags or docking tickets, man the possibilities are endless!

that would be a far better use of time for these hackers who seem to have no life.

I've seen Youtube evidence of hacking in XBox360 and PS3 for the game MW2, so it's possible. I've only heard of hacking in BF3 and BC2 on consoles but don't believe I've experienced it.

yea i saw it in BC2 on xbox, but rarely, i think this is just due to the different audience to the respected formats.

yea they nerfed them early because everyone flying choppers was crying about them, they are completely useless now, over sized pea shooters.

now a good pilot can dominate the whole game, far too much emphasis on flying in the game.

yeah, they need to nerf air vehicles again, possibly drop stingers down to 1 or 2 and have a chopper die with 2 or 3 quick shots.

I think 2-3 players should be able to bring down a chopper, and people in the chopper (not the pilot) should be more prone to dying to stop engineers just sitting on the side and repairing the whole time.

Yeh agreed, flares are the issue. They almost need to invent a weapon specific for BF3 that fires a projectile faster than a grenade launcher so that it requires skill to hit a chopper out of the sky, (hitting a chopper with a grenade launcher is way to hard), but it gives a good chopper pilot the chance to evade without flares, then can the flares from the game, or only make the useful for air to air weapons.

Why do you have to counter EVERYTHING people say in this thread? You are not god's gift to battlefield 3 so stop acting as if you're the greatest player in the world. If it was that easy, do you think the issue would exist? NO. It's not that simple. Lock on, fire rocket, flares. OK, attempt to lock on again, oh wait he is long gone out of range. That or if you do actually get a shot on target, it still doesn't kill the vehicle in one hit and you're stuck with the same issue.

Also the Javelin needs more than 2 shots (or 3 if you have explosion upgrade). It's ridiculous. If you're on a small server on a vehicle dominated map, nobody uses support and you run around with no ammo unless you die.

yea you can't hit them even though the whole side is open and exposed... i remember it being very easy to headshot chopper pilots in 1943 HD & BC2 what did they change it for.

flares are a problem for the stingers effectiveness but still there should be a damage increase or the choppers armor needs to be downgraded... air tank currently. only way to really deal with them are Javelins which considering the co-ordination and fact it neutralizes a player/warnings, they should really do %70+ damage on most things.

I unlocked the solfam last week and sitting there with that thing is the worst position in the game, you don't get enough points either.
