Are you talking about South Africa or England?

Warner scores 300 in 3 innings' and doesn't get man of the series? Tough crowd.

Dilshan deserved it. Much more consistent with the bat, a handy bowler and good fielding.

Punter has made another ton for Tasmania today, as has Cowan. Great signs!

this article shows just how good Sri Lanka were this series, esp by their own and subcontinental standards.

A couple of good tons by smith and kallis yesterday.

Kiwis are up the creek.

Mind you the pitch isnt giving the bowlers a whole heap of assistance.

Jackson Bird hattrick today for Tassie. Taking him to 48 wickets in 7 games at 15.7

Sign him up for the Windies tour!

Looks like Tassie will make the final.

NZ 2/137 with 1 day left chasing 401. McCullum and Taylor well set. Let's hope they can win it!

That would be epic, but unlikely. A few early wickets and they'll go on the defensive and try save a draw.

McCullum and Taylor are the men they want at the crease for that sort of chase. If both can fire, who knows!

Steyn has lost a lot of his bite lately it seems, he's consistently being outdone by their two new blokes. I guess he's on the back end of his career already.

Impressive stuff here from NZ, managed to lose 5 wickets without adding a run. Whoops.

So... what do we think the real story is with Haddit Haddin?

If he's got his panties in a twist about playing second fiddle to Wade during the limited overs and has just come home because he's an arrogant dick, then he shouldn't be considered for the tests IMO.

If it's something serious then I guess that's another story.

"personal reasons" and also stated that no further comment will be given.

certainly sounds like he's thrown his toys out of the pram.

If that's the story then I don't think he deserves a test spot, AB would be spinning in his Lay-Z-Boy

Eh?

Could just as easily be something with his family...I think he deserves to be given the benefit of the doubt on this one.

Like i said... if it's something serious like a relative on their death bed, then as he's a backup player it's a different story.

It says personal reasons and ur being ****s about it. Haddin's wife is pregnant, maybe that has something to do with it. Nice way for you to all character assasinate him. Could even be something mental, who knows, but such reactions are typical of why Trescothick with his depression couldn't handle international cricket.

Either way, it's unfortunate timing for him and could be the final nail in the coffin.

Why doesn't he just say why, or make some other excuse for leaving that wont have people asking questions?

Also surprised nobody has posted, Tenlulkar got his 100th century against Bangladesh. LOL. 114 off 147, yep, selfish knock right there.

His recent failings just confirm my opinion that Brian Lara is the best batsman in my lifetime

Agree, but to be fair, he has generally been their most consistent bat through summer, at least in the Tests. From memory there was only 1 Indian test century here all series. I still think that Ponts 1998 - 2005 version is the best though.

I though Kohli was the stand-out in most games. Maybe not early in the series but def their best batsman overall

Werd.

I believe that was actually Sachin's 1st ODI century against Bangladesh anyway, so I hardly think a feasting on bottom feeders argument holds water.

Anyone else following the Sheffield Shield final? Queensland seemed to be crusing but they've just gone from 2-83 to 7-88 in about the last 95 seconds.

Only 45 more to get, but if they throw it away it will be a choke of Greg Norman-esque proportions.
But we're fools if we sit back and stare at the ground
