Technics Repairs Melbourne
So. I've done a search and the only thread I could find is 5 years old so I figured I'd ask again.

I scored a free 1200 MK2 the other day out of a mates parents shed, only catch the thing is pretty screwed, the whole tone arm has been ripped off including the bit you fix it too. I'm guessing it probably needs a service too, other then that tho it seems to be fine.

I'm wondering if people have any places in Melbourne that they've used before or would recommend. I've checked Google but I don't really wanna get slung with a quote fee for a place thats a rip off etc etc.

Anyways

Cheers guys.

You guys able to post the details here?

Need to get my 1200 fixed. Chords at the back are a bit fucked, can only hear out of one headphone, sound goes in and out of the main speakers too.

^ what? If you get sound through both left and right channel on your mixer, and your speakers, but not your headphones, it's nothing to do with your turnables...it's your headphones or the mixers headphone jack losing connection

I thought it might be the connections? My headphones work on all different mixers and through my CDJ's just not through my turntable.

I'm a bit confused, so the issue is different in your speakers then in your headphones!
What mixer do you have?

Like Kiwi said it could just be the headphone socket, does it do it with other people's headphones mate?

Just tried a different set of headphones. Still can only get it coming out of one ear (left or right, not both). So frustrating!

Yeah it probably is the socket in the DJM mate!
It might not be hard to fix, if you can't do it most any tech should be able to sort it easily!
