Fucking amazing night. I think it was a bit slow to begin with, but come 1:30ish, everything was spot on (for me at least).

What was that last tune? Heard it before in a Sasha set and a few others.

What a night!

That was so fun, last 2 hours was on fire! I did kind of want to hear Strings of Life though haha

Would love to catch him again at Spice, but can't really do Thursday gigs!

Just me or does anyone else wish people didn't whistle all the time at gigs?

screaming is bad enough but whistling? just enjoy the music and dance..

How about spending some $ and fixing the air conditioning, wall fans, and tuning the sound system so it's not just %90 bass frequencies in the cave?

It's a new remix of Inner City. I wish I could remember who the remix is by/what the track title is

Fuck that was a dope party. May tore the shit up! Loved that funky, tribal loopism he was busting for a while the most, but all of it was great

This was a lot of fun. Was great getting down and having a boogie. Was pretty funny when that dude was asking him to "play something with more doof doof" (not sure exactly what he asked him, but by his hand gestures it looked like he was saying that)

what a great night !!

Krafty kuts set at laundry was off the hook , and Derrick may ... Well what more can be said !! That time just flew by too quickly , was such a awesome set

Tune of the the night for me was a mike Clark record on kevin saundersons label ... Unreleased though apparently

Derrick loved the night and said he can't wait to come play the cave again and next time he wants to do a 9 hour set , he love the crowd and energy and had a ball playing for you all

Thanks to everyone on here for coming dOwn and enjoying the night !

WOW WOW WOW. that was an amazing night. Derrick was fun fucken tastic....watching him was like watching a magician work, so fluid. Mixing was absolute perfect...the tunes oh my the tunes....such killer tracks....I could not fault anything with him, nothing at all. The crowd was up for it as well, apart from a couple of dick heads who didn't last long in the cave anyways......

Thank You thank you Paul for having him.

I'm tempted to go to Spice Cellar to see him again, even though I hate that place.

Derrick definitely wasn't giving it 100%, and I thought the tracks were pretty mediocre. It's not often that I can say that I was only amazed by a handful of tracks when I see him mix. Haven't said that it was still darn good. Shame about the the sound in the laundry though.

Murray Lake was a suitable set before May, though could've slammed it a little more before handing it over.

I've never seen them live myself so I can't tell you if they put on a good show, but I would say if I got the chance, I would absolutely go see them. They're one of those acts that are highly important in the history of dance music - that alone makes it worthwhile IMO. Plus they have made a lot of fun music of the years.

i saw inner city live back in their heyday, they were fantastic back then. big fun and good life are inner city at their best.
They've changed singers a few times since, and haven't done much for years, until recently so hard to say if they've still got it
