no he wouldn't. wenger wouldn't have him anywhere near his team. he plays like a 12 year old, just runs around with his head down. he slows down all our attacks. good defender but apart from his pace & strength he offers nothing. would rather a left back who provides an attacking threat

He's one of the better defenders in the league imo, but a wingback he ain't.

defensively he is pretty solid. against fast wingers like walcott he eats them for breakfast. he's fast and strong but he lacks footballing intelligence. so frustrating watching him hold on to the ball for no good reason when there are 3 or 4 options around him. his shooting is also woeful and he needs to stop it. don't think he's had one shot on target all season, always ends up in row z.

i used to wonder why he never got into the spanish team but after watching him this season it's obvious he wouldn't fit in.
