Mid 2011

Bundesliga is the most entertaining league in the world for me.... love it.

One of the best managed/run league in Europe as well. Got it sorted.

The Spanish players are too burnt out. I'm still sticking with Germany as the favourites.

My team (FC St Pauli) are in Bundesliga 2... watch most of their games on Firstrow. Just missed out on a promotion playoff place

Srsly though, I've met a fair few fuckheads with a fondness for St Pauli.... never realised hardcore anti-fascism was so prevalent in Surry Hills.

St. Pauli have more holders of season tickets than many Bundesliga teams. One study recently estimated that the team has roughly 11 million fans throughout Germany, making the club one of the most widely recognised German sides. The number of official fan clubs passed 500 in year 2011 which is an increase of 300 over just three years.

St. Pauli opens its home matches with "Hells Bells" by AC/DC, and after every home goal "Song 2" by Blur is played.[5]

lol awesome.

Roy Hodgson can bring out best in England, says Peter Odemwingie

West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie says new England manager Roy Hodgson may be able to bring out the best in the national team.

Odemwingie, who plays under Hodgson at Albion, says the 64-year-old is at his best working with "average" teams.

Tbh I can't really see much value in jumping on an average bundesliga 2. clubs bandwagon but I'll take your word for it.

You're just jelly supporter-owned Bundesliga clubs with no cash play better football than your billion dollar bandwagon

If we are going down this road again, I'm not a bandwagon Chelsea supporter - SW7. Support Brentford as well, League 1 club, who are the perennial unlucky team - we always seem to nudge the top 6, but never really get there.

Oh, and Arsenal loaned out a keeper to us a few years back.....forgot his name actually....

Gonna be in krakow the night of the poland v czech republic game

I reckon Russia are sneaky chance to make the final, in a pretty easy group, decent squad and made the semi's last time round.

No Rio in the England squad. Terry as captain makes wanting England to lose easier.

I'm really liking Germany for this. Ozil was in top form at the end of the season. Klose is always up for goals at big tourneys and Gomez had a great season too

Their defence and midfield have always been strong

In fact, half the squad are Bindippers, even Henderson's in reserve. Is he trying to win the Anfield crowd back or something? Joke

Maybe just trying to set low expectations from the outset

Well, if he's any sense he'll play 4-3-3/ 4-2-3-1 with Carroll up top, Young and Wellbeck in withdrawn wide roles and Hollywood Steve in the hole behind the lummox up front. See Chelsea with Drogba up top and Strurridge etc dancing around.

At least until fat Wayne is back from suspension. Defoe on the bench allows you to go 4-4-2 when they're inevitably 1-0 to Sweden and need to change things. Starting 4-4-2 would be suicidal in the first two group games.
