Less than a month out now, who will own this years E3?

The only thing that has me excited is the Wii U. For me, the whole second screen thing is already in full effect, so the ability to play on the TV and then shift to tablet has me interested – as well as games backward compatibility so I can pick up cheaply all the current crop of Wii games I've missed.

PlayStation I imagine will push the Vit-meh, thats upcoming slate and the HD collections it’s bringing to PS3 (ZOMG!).
Not sure what M$ will show, maybe Gears of War 4?

JRod, please insert Next-Gen theories.

Yep, I don't think we'll see much of the Sony/MS stuff this E3, expect that next year.
Will be PC and Wii dominated.

Hmm, predictions.

Sony to parade GTAV as it's third-party prancing horse... but they won't have all the Rockstar laughs, after Microsoft throws around Halo 4 then closes out their conference with a teaser for Red Dead Rebellion (which we then won't hear about for months until after GTAV ships).

This year will be a snooze-fest while all the major studios turn their attention to next-gen titles for 2014.

Peter Molyneux's thoughts on E3 this year

- Sony and Msft are holding their breath on next gen interesting to see how they pad out another year. Price cuts, form factors?
- Nintendo’s slightly lack lustre Wii U is going to have to blow us away with better specs and great 1st party line up.
- The real challenge is how the players are going to adapt to the mounting pressure of Facebook, Apple, Social, Cloud, Multi-Gaming.
- Is the biggest news that E3 itself runs the risk of being outdated, or perhaps it already is?
- I guess I am excited about GTA V, but only in a mildly curious way.
- I am excited, as always, to hear from Valve.
- I would expect some announcement from Bungie
- God only knows what COD will have to destroy in the Press briefing demo, after last year’s destruction of NY.

Had lunch with the group manager of GameArena yesterday, he has his flight booked and is pumped to go to E3...
