I was quite disappointed when I went to Sankeys last year. The venue itself, I'm sorry to say, is one of the most ordinary clubs I've been to. Nothing special about it at all. And to top it all off the air con wasn't working that night, was like being in a BO sauna. Other than that, good music & DJs! Lol

Sankeys is crap these days. I think its was around 2006 when they did it all up to make it look like a more "modern" club. Totally ripped the soul out of it and the different crowd reflected that. Prior to its refurb it was a little sweat box with one of the loudest sound systems ive heard anywhere and by far one of the best clubs ive been to.

Was there a few weeks back for Basement Jaxx etc and it was amazing, amazing sound-system and lighting

I remeber it when it was Sankeys Soap in Manc in 94 when i was there. Its come a long way since then.
