t's been a while in between drinks for 4our, but we're finally ready to hit you with the details for our next warehouse party.

Our next guest Lorna Clarkson is one of Sydney's most forward-thinking DJs and taste-makers, and will be familiar to most through one of her many radio shows - currently Down Low Disco on 2SER. Anyone that caught her at HAHA's most recent knees-up will know why we booked her on the spot, and anyone who missed out - don't make the same mistake twice! One of the the most genre-defying and eclectic sets we've heard in a long while.

In her years behind the decks she has played locally and internationally whilst still maintaining a music credibility that can best be described as deep and dirty. Whether it be house, techno, disco, electro, hip hop or dubstep, Lorna plumbs the depth of a vast array of music styles in order to connect to those elements that evoke a physical response.

Lorna is joined by 4our residents Kate Doherty, Trinity and Magda Bytnerowicz, bringing you freaky phrases & future funk for all hours.

Argh, 3 other "warehouse/secret" shows on that night... but Lorna is a great DJ, can't justify missing this.

How do these warehouse parties work? I've never been to one before.

The same way any party works. Have fun, be responsible. Don't act like a jerk-off to people around you.

I was a bit ill at Haha so I couldn't stick it out to see her whole set, but she was a total weapon from what I did see! REALLY nice tunes in there

Sorry, I should've been more specific. How do warehouse parties compare to music-orientated nightclubs, in general?

There are less "we came here because it's a club and we're drunk and thought we should go to a club" sorts ... there are also less "this is the cool place to be so we came here to stand and look pretty" sorts.
There are more "we like this artist so we came to listen to them" sorts. Oh and BYO. Most of the time.

The last 4our was my first warehouse party and I must say it was fucking Ace. Hope I can go to this one.

Amosse, the guys have it right, basically warehouse crowds tend to be a really lovely crowd of people more interested in the music than the latest hipster hangout. And the other rule of thumb is to keep the location very quiet. ;P

As for the party clash – yep, it's a bummer, however, what's really exciting is that the scene is healthy enough to sustain 3 of these shindigs in one night.

Uni exams over, must get down to this.

I might drop down for this. How are the crowd demographics? Many 21-ish year olds there?

fairly broad, usually leaning towards mature/older crowd but everyone's welcome. It's an inviting atmosphere.
