What about Gatty/Hawman ?

He's from Melbourne and he's playing at Defqon on sydney and Q-base over in Europe?

Perhaps not everyone's favourite style but he's certainly making waves both in Australia and internationally?

^^ There's always part three! The good thing about these round-ups are the suggestions from people.

Quote=daverh - it feels like I could make a new list like this each week.

Do it! some of these tracks are great (Mr Pollard is a bit of a gun imo) and sure beats a lot of other articles doing the rounds at the moment. And there is HEAPS of great stuff happening all the time. This "introduce new music loop" needs to be sped up I reckon. Doing it once a week would be fantastic.

Would be happy to contribute if you don't have the time yourself. I accept all forms of currency including BJ's, pizza, and cash (no cheques)

Bitrok are excellent... I could never work out why they were finding it so hard to find a (major) label for their album, it's so polished.

I'm going to suggest fellow TBC member - Dima. He's a young hip-hop producer with two mixtapes under his belt. His first tape is straight-up cut-n-paste style hip-hop, sounding like some of the less scattered Ninja Tune instrumentals.

http://www.mediafire.com/?lq42m8aeppl8mmp << Beat tape one...

And his second tape is a slow-baked, trip-hop experiment...

http://dima-beats.bandcamp.com/ << Beat tape two...

this guy here:

http://soundcloud.com/biggiesmalls

been dominating the doof scene this past 12 months with fresh releases and been a main reason canberra's techno scene is still kicking. has grabbed attention from alex smoke, and his tunes wouldnt sound out of place amongst bodzin, huntemann, romboy etc
