Fluidlife Lunar’s September Showdown is in partnership with one of Canada’s greatest Electronic Music Exports – LUKE FAIR.

One of the most down to earth artists you'll meet in the industry today, it's not cliché to say Luke Fair is "all about the music." Very true, I reckon Luke played the set of the night at Billboards last year. He kept it deep and interesting and really impressed with his smooth and perfect track selection. Definitely under rated IMO. He should be a perfect fit for 161.

Good call for sure but very different sounds to compare. In terms of being impressed, I think Luke surpassed himself last year and is VERY understated and Nick Warren did what he was expected to do.

Possibly one of the best tracks to come out of that period of dark, driving prog.....

Luke was in exceptional form. There is nothing too fancy how he goes about his business but there is something about the way he mixes tracks that I find super interesting. He really is a tight DJ and his sets just flows. Really awesome music and he recorded the set as well so I'll post as soon as he OK's the mix.

Shame he doesn't play down here more.....

One word - class.

re set - Glad to hear he recorded it - would def be keen to hear it & will be interesting to see how it sounds outside of late night club headspace. Deep, melodic, crisp belters.

His mixing is superb - just super tight transitions & is perfect for one-six imo.

First time i had seen the upstairs renovation too & it has a great vibe - the rework guys were the business early on. Good to see stevie g having fun & enjoying the surroundings.

Down stairs looks like it gets a bit messy too later on ;P

There is nothing too fancy how he goes about his business but there is something about the way he mixes tracks that I find super interesting. He really is a tight DJ and his sets just flows. Really awesome music and he recorded the set as well so I'll post as soon as he OK's the mix. Shame he doesn't play down here more..... All in all I had a great night! A new sample heavy house mix from me that's deep, melodic, druggy and full of tech....have a listen!

Deep, melodic, crisp belters. His mixing is superb - just super tight transitions & is perfect for one-six imo. First time i had seen the upstairs renovation too & it has a great vibe - the rework guys were the business early on. Good to see stevie g having fun & enjoying the surroundings.
