For a 20 year old his take on the electronic music scene is respect-worthy. Awesome to see young local TALENT *cough stafford brothers* back himself up with an honest answer about the scene in general. Kudos

That's probably the nicest comment i'll ever muster up.

seen him a couple o times and he is indeed awesome but seems like he's everywhere atm. i understand the need for exposure at this establishment/growth stage, but maybe a wee bit much..

I haven't seen this sort of fawning reaction from the industry since nick littlemore/pnau 10 years ago.

Flume is talented and no doubt connecting with audiences but his people might want to pull back a bit and throttle his supply ... audiences are fickle and can easily tire of something they see too much.

Caught his set at Valley Fiesta this weekend past - Overall, I think his music is engaging and has the capacity to generate a lot of crowd participation however his age really came through in his set. Lazy transitions, a 'press play and throw the hands in the air' mentality and no unexpected twists or turns (except for a slightly extended intro to the Hermitude remix). He really needs to put more though into live set. Only time will tell itm ...

I think it's more impressive if someone who is older makes becomes successful.

It's nice to see someone who actually makes good music representing Australia on a large scale again (unlike when we had to put up with TV Rock and Stafford Brothers being our mascots). It's like the glory days of Phil K and Nubreed being on everyone's lips.
