Acid Techno in Brisbane?
Hey just wondering if there are any acid techno DJ's or parties or club nights up there...
I was in Bris about 3 years ago, there was one guy DJ Metrognome was playing acidy sorta stuff... Any info appreciated... |

ya there's a few dj's around that are into acid tech... not too much of it get's played out though... doofs are your best bet... some names.. Custa, magoo, funky space elf, metrognome (gone to canberra I think), myself, aniki, plus several I can't remember at the moment...

the closest you will get, as said b4, is psytrance / goa for your needs. go to outdoor parties, better/friendlier people, free or donation parties and they'er in the forests or on the beach and no claustrophobic smoky rooms to deal with. as a brisneyland resident, we regularly travel down to bryon for a good party-sure beats the clubs. visit spraci in the brisbane and Byron section for party announcments on the chat pages, also try www.australiens.net they have byron area parties too.
