Best Street Fighter Character Everrrrrr
We've all played this game so what will it be if you were up against the best asian in Timezone?
Well i think my avatar gives mine away simply for Akuma's kick ass lvl 3 super attack the 15 hit one where he warps in and whips ass! damn that looks cool Although if i was up against the best asian player i dare say i would be the one who gets the can of whoop ass opened on.:p

I never really played anything past SFII Turbo myself, so limited to the original 8 charachters and 4 bosses.. My 2 favorites were definitely Vega and Ken, I used to kick arse with them!
Unfortunately nowadays i'm quite rusty and would be lucky to get past the first easy level stage LOL |

Ken is the best...
Although you can't go past Guiles "special" moves on the original SF2.. Invisible throw.. that other move where the character stuck to you.. and if you couldn't do a throw before time run out the machine would hang.. |

I dont think many people do with all the different re-incarnations of the same kind of game hyper championship super turbo alpha zero street fighter. Funnily enough the game is celebrating its 15th anniversary by putting together 5 types of SF into the one game so you can play hyper ryu vs turbo ken or whatever. Its been rumoured that SF3 3rd Strike will be bundled with it - but being on the ass end of the gaming world no doubt we will miss out :p

First time I beat SF2 at the arcade was with Chun Li.
Ryu and Ken for being so dominant. Blanka for the simplicity and head-eating. Vega for those kickass fly-through-the-air-pick-you-up-and-dump-you throws. ![]() I can't choose. ![]() |

This game is the very reason I started programming.
I sucked at it. Reflexes and button-combos are definately not my thing. All i remember is waking up at nite in a cold sweat screaming "Hadukin!"..

Zangief just because he was so big and fat, and he did those awesome spinning around punches and those kamikaze dives through the air.
Good times...... Good times.... |

Akuma by far. Loved Street Fighter vs Xmen. I can pull off like a 25 hit air combo with Akuma in that (with a little help from his instant hell murder special)

in x-men vs street fighter, the two characters i managed to beat the arcade with, without having to continue at all, was with spiderman and ryu

M. Bison can be vicious if you are quick with the blue flame dives, but you have to be quicker then fireballs or its all over, unless you can pull off head taps quick

ken for sure but I lost interest once the graphics changed to those really cartony ones. My fave was the 2nd or 3rd version of the original with turbo when you could do the moves in the air.

Well I played SF 2: world Warrior and SF2: CE the most. And out of those two the characters I could use best were Ken and Ryu. Used them whenever I wanted to challenge someone. However, in single player I tried to experiment with the other characters and at one stage I was even using Zangief quite abit.
Of all the later streetfighters, I think Super Akuma was the best character by a mile but he was kinda secret and super cheap. I mean who else can do double air fireballs? |

When playing SF vs Xmen, if I wanted to do the easy win, I'd just double up on Akuma. That was hilarious. If one of them dies, you just use him again ![]() Mind you, this was playing it emulated, and with a setting somewhere so that you could actually use the same character twice.

I think I can pull off about a 8 or 9 straight air combo with Akuma/Ryu/Ken. If I use Akuma and use Instant Hell murder it gets up to about 22 or something of the like.

Obviously not many people here are into the minor characters so I will list a few funky ones.
Cammy :p (hands down kick ass chick) Ibuki - (hottest damn ninja ever) Strider Hiru & Captain Commando (not SF but Capcom anyway) Area (I mean 3 wheeled rollerskate/rollerblades )Dhalsim (the flexiest damn dude in the world) Dee Jay - too cool (if ever there were a DJ) And for lovers of Akumas evil combo check out Chun-li's equivalent air supercombo in Marvel vs Capcom 1 (7 stars super). Think that outta bring a few more Arcade/emulation freaks some grins.
