The 2 Bears – the side-project of Hot Chip member Joe Goddard and Raf Rundell – were recently in town for Stereosonic, where they made quite an impression on audiences with tracks from their forthcoming debut album Be Strong.

To tide us over until the official album release date at the end of the month, the duo are giving away album track Time in Mind for free download – which, naturally, you can get a hold of right here on inthemix. The 2 Bears have also put their EP Work up for streaming on Soundcloud.

The debut album’s already been working up a lot of buzz, with Radio 1 host Annie Mac even comparing it to Primal Scream’s 1991 release Screamadelica – quite the commendation. Give it a spin!
