Epic night! Thanks to all who represented, 400-plus punters on a Sunday night in Brisbane? Done. Perfect opening set from Rola Dee, Schoolfight are a band to watch on the TZU/Butterfingers tip, Katch was tidy despite bouncing vinyl issues, Jediz put in an excellent tribute to DJ Angus, and QBert .... well, fuck. He started out with some of the heaviest, most precise bass music ever heard in The Mustang Bar, and proceeded to get better with each passing minute. An hour of autograph signing post set was testament to the man's connection to his fans and his endless patience. QBert's tour manager, who had just been all through Europe and southeast Asia with him said it was one of the best responses all tour. White Rabbit (local glitch/wobble/bass showcase) with headliner Spenda C coming up on Easter Sunday, April 8 followed by Kurtis Blow on Thursday April 19. Read the Whole thread
