VBS.tv, the online TV channel for Vice Magazine, have taken the wraps off a new series that’ll no doubt be of definite interest to the inthemix audience at large. Electric Independence takes its name from a column that has featured in the magazine for the last 5 years, written by “some weirdly-named guy in our London office thinks about electronic music”.

Coincidentally the show is hosted by an Aussie, who they describe as a ‘hulking sound nerd’. In each episode the film crew journey deep into the studios of some of electronic music’s most interesting identities. Online now you can see episodes with Holy Ghost!, JD Samson of Le Tigre, Moby and RJD2.
