Serbia's Exit Festival; sounds cool, but how do you get there?

Every year we gaze at the lineups for European summer festivals and think, ‘one day I’ll go’... right? Well if 2010 is that year for you, and you’ve got Serbia’s legendary Exit Festival firmly in your sights, you might find this travel info useful. We’re putting it up to coincide with our super-mega Win A Trip To Exit Festival competition, so if you haven’t got your entry in yet be sure to check it out.

How to get to Exit Festival

Exit Festival is held in the lovely city of Novi Sad, situated 100kms from Belgrade, Serbia. There are direct and indirect flights from all European countries to Belgrade, which is the nearest city to Novi Sad. Alternatively, the cheaper and more adventurous route is through Budapest on a discount airline, then making your way to Novi Sad by road. If you fly into Belgrade, Novi Sad is roughly 1 hour by car/bus from Belgrade airport. If you fly into Budapest with Easyjet or Ryan Air, then get a bus, train or car to Novi Sad, it’ll take around 5 hours.
