The Lingerie Football League is coming to Australia

Call up your feminist friends and see if they’re free in June, because the Lingerie Football League is coming to Australia. The 2012 LFL All-Star Game features “32 of the most athletic and beautiful women across the league”, with Sydney and Brisbane chosen as the cities for the exhibition games.
The LFL was established in 2009, consisting of 12 teams from across the United States who play a 20-week season. The grand finale of each season is the Lingerie Bowl, which is watched by millions through the MTV Networks.
The press release that popped into our inbox this morning enthuses that while men drawn to “scantily clad bodies” made up the bulk of the audience in the early days of the League, now women and families also tune in to watch them play. Fun for young and old!
Saturday 2 June – Brisbane Entertainment Centre
Saturday 9 June – Allphones Arena, Sydney
