An ill-advised version of AC/DC’s You Shook Me All Night Long by Las Vegas warbler Celine Dion has been named Worst Cover in an “expert-voted” poll for Total Guitar magazine. While the cover was never released commercially, the singer has been known to whip it out live. The Sugababes/Girls Aloud team-up for karaoke classic Walk This Way was named second worst.
While the purpose of this exercise is to laugh at the losers, outstanding cover songs are honoured too. Jimi Hendrix’s take on Bob Dylan’s All Along The Watchtower tops that list, followed by The Beatles and Guns ‘n Roses. Check out the top and bottom five below…
