Australian swingers destination the White Cockatoo Resort was criticised by rival naturist organisations this week after the notorious Queensland holiday camp announced they’re dropping their ban on partner swapping for an ‘almost anything goes’ month of sex orgies in March 2009.

Lindsay Parkyns from the Australian Nudist Federation said the event would attract ‘the wrong sort of people – particularly single guys looking for sex’, while Lisa Wright, owner of the Eureka Road Naturist Resort, warned of ‘loons’ hunting down swingers. “They are predatory in nature – their personalities are very much ‘this is what I want and I’m going for it’,” she told ninemsn. “These are the men who ring up, say they want to visit but don’t want to pay to stay and then complain there aren’t enough nude bodies on our website. The scary thing is they’re free to walk in: the gate is always open.”

The Queensland resort previously banned partner swapping three years ago after a party ‘got out of control’, and owner Tony Fox said he’s re-introducing it because ‘tough economic times call for stiff measures’ (BBC). Mr Fox also stressed that predators will be barred or ‘booted out’, and he brushed off his critics as ‘prudie nudies’ with ‘penis envy’.
