World's Best Festivals

#21 Mutek – Montreal, Canada
It’s hard not to fall for the charms of Mutek in Montreal. The boutique festival never goes for flashy or glitzy productions, instead focussing on great music and innovative artists from all fields. Bring your beret and get into the action.
#22 Bestival – Isle of Wight, UK
Not only does Bestival draw big headliners like Kraftwerk and Massive Attack, but the English festival is the epitome of fan-fun, with punters dressing up in all sorts of crazy costumes every year. It’s like a 6th birthday party on steroids.
#23 T in the Park – Scotland
The UK is renowned for enormous festivals and the Scottish T In The Park festival is one of the biggest. What seals the deal for us is the two-day Slam Tent which this year brought Carl Cox, Dubfire, Erol Alkan and Plastikman to the party.
#24 (Trance) Energy – Netherlands
While Trance Energy has become simply ‘Energy’ now, it’s still the mother of all trance events, regularly drawing the biggest names in the business to Holland for a marathon night of lazers and white clothes.
#25 Nuits Sonores – Lyon, France
Spending four days in Lyon, France would be great on its own, but when you add the likes of Laurent Garnier, UNKLE and Joris Voorn – headliners for the Nuits Sonores festival in 2010 – then it gets even more awesome.
