Dance Music's Greatest Live Acts

#10 Kraftwerk

Living legends of dance music, Kraftwerk regularly rank as favourites in any live list for their futuristic, technologically mind-blowing stage show. Come back soon, y’hear.

#9 Booka Shade

Ever since their sold-out debut tour here in 2007, Booka Shade has enjoyed a love affair with Australia. It seems unlikely the thrill of hearing In White Rooms and co. done live will ever lose its lustre.

#8 Massive Attack

Massive Attack chose some incredible settings for their shows here in March, but it was the musicianship, aesthetic and seemingly inexhaustible string of classics that has lingered in the memory.

#7 Pendulum

Already bursting with energy in their studio work, Pendulum take it to a whole new level when playing live thanks to the combined livewire forces of singer Rob Swire, DJ El Hornet and new drummer KJ Sawka.

#6 Orbital

Thanks to the torch goggles and huge bank of equipment, Orbital has one of the most visually iconic live shows in dance music. It was mind-blowing to see it again in early 2010.
