Following on from the success of ‘Forever and Never’, Hamish are back again with ‘4 Your Love’, featuring mixes from Andy Page and on the flip Kam Denny & Ivan Gough. Yet again Hamish come up with strong vocals that manage to stay with you long after hearing the record.

Andy Page delivers something of a melodic progressive interpretation, although it must be said that this is far from your average progressive record. Page uses the vocal heavily, along with warm pads and soft melodies, managing to create a very atmospheric feel. Sitting comfortably underneath the layers of atmosphere is a bouncy, playful bassline that ads a clubbier dance floor edge to the record. As usual Andy Page does things a little differently and comes up with the goods.

Kem Denny and Ivan Gough toughen things up on the flip, providing something of a dance floor stormer! Denny and Gough utilising the vocal much more sparingly, choosing rather to twist and contort amongst layers of heavy sweeps and stabs. This is a rather massive mix that is certainly destined to rock many a late night dance floor.
