Sinister House
Debut release on Sinister House for Vinny Troia is the big room techy progressive house workout ‘Spiders’. Hailing from New York, Vennie Troia is proving to be a talented exponent of the New York house sound pushed by the likes of John Creamer, with tunes out on labels such as Oval and Harlem and his recent studio efforts finding there way onto Steve Lawler’s latest Global Underground compilation.
Not for the faint hearted, Spiders is a true big room tune. With large techy percussion, twisted ramblings about genetically engineered spiders, the odd sweet sounding wavy gravy style pad and a dirty rumbling bottom end, expect to hear this tune on those late night head down dark and sweaty dance floors.
On remix duties is Sinister’s favourite Buenas Aires lads Big Head. A great complement to the original, Big Head retain the dirty rumbling tech sound while adding their own distinct brand of tribal percussion. With a brief nod towards breaks in the eerie sounding breakdown its easy to see where the over half of Sinister lives!
As with the first outing on Sinister Breaks, Vinnie Troia ensures that Sinister House gets started on a high.
