This double cd release is the latest work from jack of all and master of many trades Erick Morillo. Having recently completed a tour of Australia many in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne would have had the chance to listen to the amazing party house vibe he consistently creates at his gigs. As a producer, he has created tracks under a bewildering array of pseudonyms such as: RAW, Smooth Touch, RBM, Deep Soul, Club Ultimate to name but some. As a DJ, he has played all over the world and started DJing since the age of twelve. Currently, Morillo is working together with label mates Jose Nunez and Harry Choo-Choo Romero; known collectively as The Dronez, and are currently producing some of the most cutting edge remixes for artist such as Jocelyn Brown, Diana Ross, The Sneaker Pimps, DJ Rap, Precious, and Basement Jaxx.

The first disk kicks off with the soulful vocals and banging house beat of Lt Brown – I Gottcha Your Back. The funky bass lines and intense screamed vocals of Monkey Bars – Pass You By (Dub) follow, as the intensity of the mix already starts to fire up into a huge party house sound. The disk is full of tunes that will be enjoyed thoroughly by the discerning house lover. Smooth & J – Get Naked has a massive summer time vibe with some amazing build-ups and funky bass line. Jj Flores & Steve Smooth Feat. Delano – Release is a great funky house with it warm rolling melodies. Other highlights are the teased mix of Benny Benassi Pres. The Biz – Satisfaction which comes in and out for almost an entire track before dropping into the main tunes dirty electro sound.

Disk two kicks off with the harsh dirty guitar of E Rock Feat. Latanza Waters – Quiver. David Guetta – Just A Little More Love continues with a reat deep house vibe with some trancey elements and soulful singing. As Morillo carefully works the mood a little tougher on the second disk with tracks such as Winx – Don’t Laugh (Robbie Rivera Remix), which has a cheeky laughing sample over a tech house beat. Other highlights include the tribal grooves of Harry Romero Ft. Robert Owens – I Go Back; the dreamy vocals and nice mellow sounds of Thick Dick – Touch The Sky (Dub) and finishes with the the layered trumpet and sax goodness of Rune – Calabria.

Both disks are full of groovy deep house tunes with nice long layered tight as f**k mixing. Morillo manages to summon up the intensity of each track by picking the absolute best time to introduce new sounds to create an amazing overall build throughout the mix. This is the type of house music they say is pumped out on a weekly basis at Pacha, Ibiza, where Erick and Darren Emerson share a residency. The compilation is upbeat and chock full of vocals with a definite US house sound.
