/Product.01 are Australian based Rochelle Vincente and London based Adamo. Together they have released their Zero One EP, Jockey Slut’s electronic hit of the month (Jan 2004), proving that geography is no barrier to musical collaboration. Their sound is a mixture of electro and tech, add Vincente’s trippy vocals to the mix and you’ve got a unique sound that has already been making waves in the world’s electro community.

On the A-side we have Heart of Glass, a remake of the Blondie classic which found it’s way into the hands of some top club and radio DJs such as Tiga and Si Begg late last year on promo and is considered by some to be something of a cult smash. Vincente’s take on the Blondie vocals blend together with /Product.01’s crunchy electro sound very nicely, making this one of the better remakes of old songs released in recent time.

On the flip side we have two /Product.01 original tracks, Crushproof and Symbionic. Crushproof features eerie synth riffs together with a fat electro-breaks bassline and Vincente’s haunting vocals. Dark, futuristic beats and robotic vocals are utilised in Symbionic, once again making good use of Vincente’s unique glassy voice.
