Adam Beyer & Jesper Dahlback - Number In Between/Redemption

Adam Beyer, Jesper Dahlback – both from Sweden, both are high-in-demand techno producers right now. Put them together for this debut release on Soma Recordings and you’re left with nothing but huge tracks.

‘Number In Between’ is harder and faster than ‘Redemption’ on the flip. It features drum rolls, impending doom synth action and one monster of a bassline. This sucker is jammed packed with energy – real techno party music style.

‘Redemption’ has more of a Jeff Mills ambience to it. It floats and wraps around the dance floor not unlike ‘Knights of the Jaguar’. It’s that tasty 5am blissful kinda gear.Overall, a nice twelve here.

This stuff may not bring a new audience to techno but it will remind techno lovers about why they got into techno in the first place.
