Tiefschwarz need no introduction. This latest selection of ‘Damage’ remixes here are pure and utter class, bleepy, minimal, quality sounding tunes that have splashes of electro, tech and house.
The Tiefschwarz Dub mix takes us into a slightly dark place, with eerie bleeps and echoes layer over an electro fused baseline that has the Tiefschwarz sound all over it. This is a really strong track that I am sure will be played out here and there.
M.A.N.D.Y feature twice as well in this release with a remix and dub. If you are aware of their sound you will completely understand what they can do and the remix offers a moody, groover filled with vocoder type sounds. The dub is beautiful also with quacky percussions and to be honest both tracks are a delight to listen to.
The Buick Projeckt remix, with its lush pianos and funked up bass running through it has a certain nostalgic-afternoon-summer-house appeal to it, making use of the vocals that fit in really well with the style of the track.
Overall, with the MOGG Man Band Remix and the radio edit, the six releases are all quality, they have all something to offer and all have a top notch sound to them. Would strongly recommend.
