Ladies and gents, Krafty Kuts is heralding his production return after a long hiatus since his well received collaborative album with fellow Brit funker A-Skillz, with this big room funky breaker ‘Tell Me How You Feel’.

For those looking for Krafty to put some of the funk back into his breaks after the slightly tougher fare of his recent efforts (Where’s the Noise, Bass Phenomenon, etc.) this release is sure to please. Frequent Deekline & Wizard vocalist Yolanda provides a catchy lyric that rides the rising bassline, which fits nicely over the kind of synth more often found in an Eric Prydz style house tracks.

The Young Punx have been commissioned to provide a house mix that stays true to Krafty’s original sound whilst mixing up the arrangement slightly, and in this respect they’ve done well. The breakbeat breakdown just before the four minute mark is well placed and has the potential to make this mix palatable to breaks DJs as well as house heads.

Kid Kenobi has this time hooked up with the ubiquitous Rogue Element to produce a well engineered electrified remix that will find itself at home later in a set due to the roaring basslines Rogue Element is famous for. The breakdown mid track feels a little out of place against the toughness of the beats on either side of it (making it a difficult listener in some respects), but in a club environment this mix will be the one that has people going insane when the beat drops.

A welcome return to the funkier side of breaks for Mr. Kuts, with two quality remixes destined to tear up the dance floor.
