Bob Sinclar - Rock This Party

It seems that Bob Sinclar (often mistakenly called Bob Sinclair) has abandoned the infamous whistle – used prominently in mega hits ‘Love Generation’ and ‘World, Hold On’, for a dose of C&C Music Factory, meets 90s MC, meets Boney M. Sounds strange? Well it kind of is, but I think it works.

The first time I listed to Rock This Party, I wasn’t real sure what to make of it, and I have to warn you, your first thought may well be “this track is just a little bit too corny”! But hang in there, because this is one of those songs that will grow on you after repetitive use, and I guarantee you’ll be boppin’ along to the funky beats in no time!

To give you an idea of what this track is about, Bob Sinclar has sampled the famous C&C Music Factory vocal and melody from “everybody dance now!”, combined it with a catchy chorus reminiscent of Boney M, thrown in some funky tribal beats, and added a raspy MC, all of which is sure to get you in the dancing mood.

This track will definitely be a floor filler – but the big question is, will it be as big as ‘Love Generation’ or ‘World, Hold On’? Only time will tell…

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!
