Whether you listen to music in your car, on your headphones or DJ every week in a club, this track is certain to grab a special spot in your collection. But before heaping too much praise on this release, it’s worth mentioning that Superbass are Paul Harris (onetime member of Dirty Vegas) and Vern (from Stretch and Vern). It stands to reason that their production talents are top-notch. While the original edit is a little bit too radio-friendly for my tastes, I’m positive you won’t be disappointed by the remix package.

Up first is Richard Dinsdale, who turns in a typically bleepy eletro-tech track, making use of the vocals to full dramatic effect and pounding out some super-sub bass beats. New kids on the block, Hungarian duo Belocca and Soneec, turn in vocal and dub mixes that build the dreamy vocals into a deep house crescendo – perfect for those early main-room sets. For a change of pace, Tapedrive pump out a bouncy take on the original with only the sweet little sounds of the vocal used to accent the quirky acid-house riffs. Gabi Newman, from Spain, lays it down deep and heavy with a tribal dub for the peak-time slots that is full of reverb and delays to shake up those bass-bins. And, to round things off, Denmark’s Noir has produced the most upbeat mix of the lot with a strong tribal beat, a deep electro bass-line, off cue bleeps and effects, distorted vocals, and a solid groove to kick up your heels to.

This release is one of those rare packages where every single mix is superb and will easily claim a spot in many house DJ sets. Toolroom Records continue to set the standard as one of the most respected dance labels in the world. Check out this digital-only release and find out why.
